Anna Pauwelyn (°2000) obtained her MA in visual arts at LUCA Ghent in 2022.

 In her work, installations and conceptual research make a gateway to merge the directness and volatility of photography with the sculptural and the linguistic. Analog structures and artifacts are placed in a peripheral space that explores internal material dialogue through observations of the public and private realms. Working in situ at the junction of language, nature, and artifact makes it possible to (re)unite the ordinary, the unknown, the familiar, and the foreign, and to build a collective actuality out of its fractured reality. Her master treatise (2022) is a research on the influence of language and use of words combined with imagery on the collective consciousness, within the digital and physical fields.
